Our Mission
Global Citizens Community is an international community of educators and youth dedicated to amplifying youth voice and empowerment while cultivating the practices and values of global citizenship. We do this by promoting three central pillars: interpersonal and intercultural connections, global citizenship education, and humanitarian action. These interconnected pillars are grounded within a global ethic that espouses peace, nonviolence, compassion, justice, and the dignity of all life as core values.

For Global Citizens Community, A Need for Hope is more than an initiative—it’s a movement to foster sustainable change in underserved communities. This program works to uplift individuals and families by addressing vital needs such as access to clean water, education, healthcare, technology, and economic opportunities. By providing resources and support tailored to each community’s challenges, A Need for Hope empowers people to break barriers, achieve self-sufficiency, and create brighter futures filled with promise and possibility.
